Perfect Guide For The Special Bride-to-be!!!
By Aimee on January 11, 2015
I got my hands on the cutest little companion for the Bride-to-be called The Wedding A-Z Everything You Need To Know and Stuff You Never Thought to Ask by Linda Hampshire and Karima El-Hakkaoui. This is over 300 pages of tons and tons of little helpful tips and advice on a variety of topics to help one prepare for any type of wedding. This book is filled with so many tidbits about seriously "Stuff You Never Thought To Ask". This book goes from one point to beyond, it pretty much covers everything from Alcohol, Vows, Myths, Marriage license, to Haggling, Annoying guests, Jealousy, Acne, Plastic surgery and so much more in between and beyond.
The topics and points are sometimes only a few sentences and some are more elaborate with great depth of explanation. This little book is so perfect and fun for someone you know that will be walking down the aisle to their soul-mate or for you, getting ready yourself! There is so much to prepare for that one special day so there a lot of thought, blood, sweat and tears that goes into it but it doesn't have to stress you to the max because the most important thing is to love and cherish that day and start your new life as someones wife.
This book is not the only kind of wedding book that you will need to prepare but it is very helpful and gives you great ideas to explore in-depth with more research. The book is meant to be fun, a slight tongue-in-cheek, and a short guide to direct you towards the most special day that you will have up to that point.
What is great about this cute little pink book is that is is not all traditional, yes there is a lot of traditional customs but also it brings a flair of modernity for every type of wedding or marriage. There are topics of eloping, destination weddings, gay and lesbian weddings, and a cute traditional and modern Anniversary gift list for down the line. The book taught me that you can ask the President to write you a congratulations letter on your 50th Anniversary, how cool is that? Get this book, just for the fun tidbits; to leave by your bedside to relax after a stressful day of planning your dream wedding, it could bring you some peace. This book is perfect for my up-and-coming marriage to my soul-mate in 2015, so I found it quite interesting and fun.
Help yourself get ready with seriously everything from A-Z and you will think to yourself, "I never thought of that!"

This book is AMAZING!! I love how it is organized
By emolie on February 28, 2015
I am getting married in August, and wedding planning is more than I bargained for! Thankfully, I was provided with a free copy of The Wedding A to Z by Linda Hampshire and Karima El-Hakkaoui from Blogging for Books in exchange for my review. This book is AMAZING!! I love how it is organized by letter of the alphabet - it makes it fun and so much less overwhelming to read about wedding stuff. It also is so comprehensive! It addresses all the major issues, but touches on things I would not have thought about. I am so glad I have this book - it has become my wedding bible! I read it all, but I also refer to it when we are planning certain things. I recommend this book for every bride, makes a great gift, too!

Linda Hampshire and Karima El-Hakkaoui really did cover EVERYTHING you would need to know while planning a wedding. It was not only helpful, but, entertaining as well. This book seriously leaves no stone unturned and will help ease your mind and let you get some beauty sleep for you big day! This book offers advice and tips from wedding professionals, doctors, and celebrities. My first thought about this book was, “Oooh, what a pretty pink” then I actually got to read it and wow, this book is so helpful, insightful, and witty. With over 300 pages that go over every detail in wedding planning, if something is missing on your big day…you did it on purpose.
Everything is categorized alphabetically and it literally has entries from A to Z: it covers tasks for your maid of honor and best man, how to involve parents in the big day, what to do if you don’t have a present father or what to do if (like me) you have a father and a step-father in your life. There isn’t a problem big or small that this book doesn’t include. Of course, it will give you tips for your dress, invites, vows, budget, registries, favors, and flowers…but it also gives you tips for things you didn’t think were necessary to think of, such as: alcohol, myths, marriage license, haggling, annoying/uninvited guests, jealousy, acne, plastic surgery, Botox, stress, and so much in between. This fantastic book also gives tips and advice for eloping, destination weddings, gay and lesbian weddings, traditional and modern weddings. It even gives advice for future anniversary gifts!
If you or someone you know is stressing out or about to have a mental break down about all the little (and big) details of their wedding or maybe you’re just really into pinning wedding things for your someday wedding, either way, I would highly recommend this book. I give this book a 5/5

Love the hot pink cover & the book size
By chelsiefletcheron January 23, 2015
The Wedding A to Z is such a cute book. I love the hot pink cover & the book size is perfect traveling too. I happened to have taken mine as a carry on from my Maui to Colorado trip. Now it occupies my night stand. Then when flipping through pages, I must say they are pretty awesome too. The Wedding A to Z literally has everything that you need to know from A to Z.

If you are getting married soon – or just checking out a bunch of wedding boards on Pinterest – The Wedding A to Z: Everything You Need to Know…and Stuff You Never Thought to Ask by Linda Hampshire and Karima El-Hakkaoui covers a wide variety of wedding related topics.
I enjoyed reading this book, because it is about weddings and is just plain fun to read (or even browse). The authors talk about a lot of different topics, and some of the things I had never even thought much about before.
If you are planning on having an incredibly traditional wedding, this probably is not the book for you, because the authors encourage brides-to-be to make choices based on what feels right, not necessarily what their grandmothers chose for their weddings. This book is also not a stand-alone wedding book; it covers a lot of topics, but other books would probably explain wedding related things in much more detail. However, this book is still a great asset, and would be great to own in addition to a lengthier wedding planning book.
I am giving the book five stars because it was fun to read, and it gave me a lot of great ideas!
